Electric vehicles are virtually silent on the road – a benefit for the environment and quality of life, but a risk for pedestrians and cyclists at the same time. The Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System AVAS is an innovative solution that makes low-noise vehicles audible at speeds below 30 km/h, thereby actively contributing to road safety.

  

Our AVAS meets all legal requirements for acoustic warning systems worldwide and can be flexibly adapted to individual vehicle designs. Not only are different sounds possible for forward and reverse driving, but the sound file can also be freely selected. In addition, it is ASIL-A and cybersecurity-compliant and meets both the European standard UN-ECE R138 and its US counterpart FMVSS 141.
