Battery Impact Detection (BID)

Damage or no damage? The measurement principle of the existing pedestrian protection system can be applied to the high-voltage battery. This allows to sense the type of impact and to warn the driver accordingly. The active system is robust enough to prevent unnecessary false alarms.

e-Motor Rotor Position Sensor (eRPS)

High-speed inductive rotor position sensor measuring the angular position of the rotor shaft in synchronous electric motors. The sensor signal is required for an efficient e-machine torque control used in electric and hybrid vehicles.

e-Motor Rotor Temperature Sensor (eRTS)

The temperature sensor measures the rotor temperature close to magnets in e-Motors using wireless signal transmission. The sensor accuracy (+/- 3 °C) with this solution allows to replace the state-of-art model-based approach (+/-15 °C) to improve overall system cost, performance and safety.

Stand-alone, contactless, active sensor providing the speed anddirection of the asynchronous motors by detecting the rotation of aferromagnetic encoder wheel mounted on the rotor shaft. The speed signal is required to drive the torque of the asynchronous machine through the inverter control board.
