Pressure based Pedestrian Protection System PPS pSAT

The PPS pSAT consists of two pressure sensors installed at the ends of a flexible tube and is integrated in the front bumper. Pressure changes from a collision can be detected and forwarded to the airbag control unit which triggers the active hood of the vehicle.
