Winter Customer Presentation 2026

Event

Experience our premiere at the Winter Customer Presentations 2026

AUMOVIO’s winter testing season spans four global locations - Arvidsjaur in Sweden, Heihe in China, Mombetsu in Japan and Brimley in the USA - offering ideal conditions to evaluate vehicle dynamics technologies under the most demanding winter environments.

Across these international proving grounds, customers experience firsthand how AUMOVIO brings innovation, reliability and real world performance together. The winter tests provide not only a look at the current product portfolio but also a glimpse into the future of braking, motion control and vehicle software in the software defined vehicle era.

From advanced brake systems and intelligent actuation concepts to high performance software solutions and virtualization technologies, the winter tests connect hardware, software and real world validation into one coherent portfolio.

Our winter tests demonstrate how seamlessly, hardware, software and simulation intelligence now come together. With our next generation brake systems, motion control software and AI driven development tools, we are not just refining vehicle dynamics - we are redefining what future mobility can feel like.

Brake System Roadmap

From wet to dry for optimal braking performance

A defining element of the winter demonstrations is the Brake System Roadmap, which outlines the continuous progression from today’s hydraulic ESC systems to fully electromechanical braking. This transformation experience step by step: beginning with the enhanced MK 120 generation and moving through the modular MK C2 One Box family, including the new MK C2 Base designed for expanded market access. The roadmap continues with the distributed brake system featuring an electric brake pedal that improves NVH behavior and supports automated driving requirements. Looking ahead, the semi dry MK C2 FA system represents the next major phase, removing hydraulics from the rear axle altogether, while test vehicles with four electromechanically actuated wheel brakes demonstrate what a fully-dry system feels like on snow and ice. This evolution underscores our clear commitment to electrified braking architectures that offer greater flexibility, safety and efficiency.

Green Electric Caliper.

Less weight. High performance. Maximum impact.

Building on this foundation, we present the Green Electric Caliper - a wheel brake that merges lightweight architecture with electromechanical precision. Its compact design and integrated controller deliver high clamping forces of up to 65 kN, while extremely low residual drag significantly improves the energy efficiency of electric vehicles. The modular motor and transmission concept supports a broad range of applications, making the Green Electric Caliper not only a technological highlight but also a building block for future, fully dry brake systems. Its combination of performance and efficiency exemplifies how AUMOVIO transforms core components to meet the demands of modern mobility.

Holistic Motion Control

Modular, scalable, independent

Complementary to these hardware developments is our Holistic Motion Control (HMC), a comprehensive software solution designed to manage all vehicle movements - longitudinal, lateral and vertical - within one unified system. HMC is hardware independent and supports decentralized as well as centralized E/E architectures, making it adaptable to a wide range of vehicle concepts. On the winter test tracks we demonstrate how HMC integrates with innovative braking systems to provide precise, tailored driving behavior and a high level of comfort and safety. As braking systems evolve toward dry architectures, HMC becomes an essential foundation for coordinating actuators and ensuring smooth, predictable vehicle dynamics.

AIPA

Artificial intelligence that calibrates safety functions before prototypes exist

In addition to the technologies deployed on the track, we showcase our AI-based Parameter Adjustment (AIPA), a key pillar of its virtualization strategy. AIPA enables the creation of high quality parameter sets for safety functions such as ABS and ESC long before the first prototype vehicles exist. By combining artificial intelligence with simulation technologies, AIPA reduces development time, minimizes the need for test vehicles, and lowers costs for OEMs, while still delivering results that match the expertise of seasoned calibration engineers. AIPA marks a decisive step toward faster, more efficient vehicle development.

Compact Corner Module

Compact design, big capability

As a final highlight, we focus on our innovation project: the Compact Corner Module This is an integrated concept that brings drive, braking, steering and suspension together at the wheel. Featuring the scalable Drive-Brake Unit and offering wheel steering angles of up to 150 degrees, the module enables driving functions such as Crab Walk and Zero Turn while reducing integration complexity for OEMs. Its by wire architecture and compact design point toward future vehicle platforms that are modular, efficient and defined by software rather than mechanical constraints.

Outlook

Our winter tests show that our innovations deliver where it matters most - in real vehicles, on real roads, under real conditions. Our focus is to deliver the features of tomorrow and ensure dynamic and safety go hand in hand.
