    Battery management system 12V Li-Ion

    The battery management system (BMS) is typically used for auxiliary Li-Ion batteries in battery electric vehicles (BEV). The BMS is integrated into the housing of the battery.

    The BMS

    • measures battery current, cell voltages and cell temperatures
    • provides SOx data and diagnosis data to master-ECU via CAN
    • monitors safe operation area of battery cells
    • performs passive cell-balancing
    • is able to disconnect the battery cells pack
