Frankfurt, March 31, 2026. Laurent Fabre, currently Head of the Wheel Brake Solutions (WBS) segment within the Safety and Motion business area, will assume the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at AUMOVIO starting April 1, 2026. In his new role, he will be responsible for sales across North America, Asia and Europe. Laurent Fabre will report directly to AUMOVIO CEO Philipp von Hirschheydt.

I am pleased to announce that Laurent Fabre will further strengthen our customer relationships in the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer. With his long-standing expertise in the automotive industry, he brings exactly the business insight and deep understanding of our customers’ needs required for this position. In his new role, he will unify and steer our sales activities with his strong leadership, ensuring an even more customer-focused and efficient commercial organization.

Philipp von Hirschheydt, CEO of AUMOVIO

Laurent Fabre has over 25 years of international leadership experience in the automotive industry. A graduate in micro electronic engineering from INSA Toulouse, he began his career at Siemens Automotive in 1997 and went on to hold key management roles at Siemens VDO and Synerject SAS, where he expanded his expertise in business development, sales, and commercial strategy.

Following Continental’s subsequent acquisitions of both companies, he assumed further leadership responsibilities, including segment Head of Electronic Chassis Components and, most recently, segment Head of Passive Safety & Sensorics within AUMOVIO, which emerged from Continental through a spinoff in September 2025.

With our already strong portfolio and deep customer relationships, we aim to further elevate our commercial performance. I am grateful for this opportunity and am convinced that bringing our global sales activities under one cohesive leadership will enable us to respond faster, act more consistently and deliver even greater value to our customers. I look forward to working closely with our teams to drive this next stage of our growth.
