AUMOVIO receives European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) certification for plug and play device VDO Link

VDO Link turns already installed vehicle technology into part of a certified tolling platform. By combining DTCO capabilities such as DSRC communication, the driver interface with VDO Link connectivity, and the VDO Fleet backend, tolling becomes a digital service rather than an additional hardware component.

For fleet operators, this means fewer dedicated devices in the vehicle, less installation effort, and simpler management of tolling services. By using existing vehicle infrastructure and reducing the need for additional dedicated hardware, the solution can also contribute to a lower total cost of ownership.
