AUMOVIO to sell its washer and cleaning business to the CERTINA Group

Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, September 3, 2026. Technology company AUMOVIO and the family-owned industrial holding company CERTINA Group have signed an agreement under which the CERTINA Group will acquire AUMOVIO’s washer and cleaning business. As part of the share deal, the CERTINA Group will take over production, research and development as well as all employees and business activities. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of 2026. Both companies have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Headquartered in Adrspach, AUMOVIO’s washer and cleaning business is entirely based in the Czech Republic and employs overall about 700 people. It develops and produces a broad variety of cleaning systems, including window washers, camera, sensor and headlamp cleaning and fluid supply.

The Munich-based CERTINA Group has more than 25 years of investment experience across a broad range of industries and is following a long-term ownership model. Its automotive platform includes multiple companies and has annual revenues of approximately €600 million.
