AUMOVIO Trailer Park Assist awarded "Smart Parking Solution of the Year"
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 15, 2026 – AUMOVIO's Trailer Park Assist has been named the winner of the AutoTech Breakthrough "Smart Parking Solution of the Year" award, recognizing innovation in transportation technology. Trailer Park Assist is an intelligent feature designed to simplify maneuvering trailers into tight or challenging spaces. Drivers can remain in the vehicle, set a parking target through the in-vehicle display, or step outside and use an augmented reality (AR) mobile app.
We are proud to accept this award from AutoTech Breakthrough. Our solution eliminates the need to choose between automation and driver control, or between simplicity and precision in hard-to-see spaces. It is one platform with three ways to engage for one important outcome: a stress-free park.

The app captures the trailer's dimensions and footprint, allowing users to drag and drop it into place on their phone screen. Built on advanced sensors and control algorithms, Trailer Park Assist automatically guides the vehicle and trailer into the selected location. Whether at home, at a campsite, or in a work environment, the system executes smooth and accurate maneuvers designed to reduce driver stress and improve convenience and confidence.
In addition to Trailer Park Assist, AUMOVIO offers a range of trailering solutions, including trailer hitching parking assistance, See-Through Trailer, Trailer Collision Warning, and Trailer Backtrack with Remote Control. Each feature uses intelligent sensors, cameras, and automated steering control to simplify and reduce risks. By integrating these technologies, vehicle manufacturers can deliver a premium towing experience that exceeds customers expectations for innovation, comfort, reliability, and safety.
